A Book Club meets monthly in one of the member's homes.

HERITAGE HANDCRAFTS

For experienced and novice patchworkers, knitters and cross-stitchers, and for those wanting to learn a new craft.
Meets in the Avenue Centre, the second Thursday in the month 10am - 12 noon.

INBETWEENS

Church social group open to all ages providing outings, games nights & Theatre nights etc.  This group meets the 3rd Saturday of the month at varous locations.

INTERFAITH ACTIVITES

Each year programs are arranged to promote understanding of other faiths and action to overcome discrimination. 

Representatives may be invited to speak about living their faith in Australia.

Arrangements are also made for groups from The Avenue Church to visit other faith centres, such as Jewish synagogues, Muslim mosques, and the local Sikh temple.

MEN'S GROUP

Meets in the Avenue Centre the first Thursday in the month.  10am - 12 noon

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP

Meets in the Avenue Centre the second Wednesday in the month 10am - 12 noon

SOUL FOOD BY THE FIRE

Enjoy an open fire, soup and a roll, live music, a time for conversation and good coffee, and a speaker who has been asked to talk about the search for meaning.

 ‘Soul Food by the Fire’ is an initiative of The Avenue Uniting Church offering an opportunity for people to explore depth in life and spirituality for today.

Each winter at least two of these events are held in the Avenue Centre.
